SJVN emerges as lowest bidder for 200MW grid connected solar project in Bihar

The PPA shall be signed between BREDA and SJVN for 25 years.

SJVN has emerged as the lowest bidder for the development of Grid connected Solar PV Power Project of capacity 200 MW through Tariff based competitive Bidding Process by Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA).

According to the regulatory filing, the quoted price for 200 MW capacity was Rs3.11 /Unit on Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis.

The tentative cost of Construction / Development of this project is Rs1000cr and is expected to generate 420.48 MU in the 1st year and the project cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years would be about 10512 MU.

The PPA shall be signed between BREDA and SJVN for 25 years.

"These projects will help SJVN in achieving its ambitious shared vision of 5000 MW by 2023, 12000 MW by 2030 and 25000 MW by 2040 and simultaneously contribute towards RE capacity addition target of 175 GW by 2022 set by Government of India", the company said.

At around 2:15 PM, SJVN was trading at Rs26.90 apiece down by Rs0.25 or 0.92% on Sensex,
