  • Markets to open on a positive note; support @16782, resistance at 17,300.
  • FIIs sold shares worth Rs3361.28cr (cash), bought Rs1701.56cr in index futures.
  • US markets close with gains. Asian Markets open in the green.
  • Brent crude was trading 0.61% higher at $73.69 per barrel.
  • Tata Motors has announced an impending price hike of its commercial vehicle range. An increase in price in the range of 2.5%, will be implemented from 1st January 2022 and will be put into effect across segments – M&HCV, I&LCV, SCV and Bus, basis individual model and variant of the vehicle.
  • Pratap Snacks has received approval under the Production Linked Incentive (PL) Scheme of the Government of India for Food Processing Industry.
  • HFCL launched its qualified institutional placement issue on December 6 and approved the floor price at Rs72.33 per share.
  • Prakash Industries said that the Directorate of Enforcement has provisionally attached properties worth Rs227.95cr. The provisionally attached assets are in the form of land at Hissar, Delhi, Noida and Chhattisgarh. The Company is in the process of seeking legal remedy against the said provisional attachment order.
  • Indo Count Industries Limited entered into a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with GHCL Limited (GHCL) for acquisition of its Home Textile business at Vapi, Gujarat, on a going concern basis by way of a slump sale and Asset Transfer Agreement (ATA) for acquisition of specified assets of the US subsidiary of GHCL.
  • Pabrai Investment Funds bought 2.05% stake in Rain Industries via open market transactions, increasing shareholding to 8% from 5.95% earlier.
  • Commercial Engineers & Body Builders has achieved a major milestone by receiving Competent Manufacturer Certification from Indian Register of Shipping, Mumbai (M.H.) and has received an order for supply of ISO Containers from Adani Logistics Services Private Limited and Kribhco Infrastructure Private Limited.
  • GSS Infotech board approves the acquisition of 100% acquisition of an Indian “farm to store” company Polimeraas, with a combination of stock and cash. Polimeraas is valued at Rs250 cr.
  • Karnataka Bank partners with Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited to extend retail vehicle finance support to its customers.
  • ICRA has upgraded Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills Long-Term rating to 'BBB-' from 'BB+' and also upgraded the short-term rating to 'A3' from 'A4+'. The ratings have been removed from 'rating watch with negative implications' and Stable outlook was assigned on the long-term rating & short term credit rating.
