Uflex climbs 2.2%; buoyant on Virginia's business prospects

Uflex climbed 2% to Rs.181.30 on BSE. The company informed BSE that the Governor of Virginia invited Uflex to set up business in Virginia and assured Uflex full cooperation and support from their side.

Uflex became an apt choice with international operations and transactions accounting for 54% of Uflex’s total revenue during Financial Year 2014-15. Notably the sales revenue from Uflex’s Kentucky operations in the United States of America during FY 2014-15 stood at approximately USD 137 million out of the total consolidated revenue of around USD 1 Billion.
The scrip opened at Rs. 179 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 184.7 and Rs. 177.3 respectively. So far 952010(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1283.17 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 197.5 on 28-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 110 on 27-Mar-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 182.5 and Rs. 170 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.02 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.68 % and 41.73 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 50 DMA.
