Hero Motocorp is likely to post muted set of numbers for Q3FY22. Amid volume decline of 30% on a YoY basis, revenue too could fall 21.9% and will be partly aided by price hikes. Weak demand during the festive season and in rural markets have impacted two wheeler sales in the quarter. Higher average selling prices and better performance of exports though could be key positives.
Pressure arising from declining revenues could intensify further amid rising costs of key inputs such as aluminium, lead, and copper. Thus fall in EBITDA as well as PAT is likely to be more severe when compared to revenues, as compared to the year ago quarter.
