Fidelity Mutual Fund has won two awards for its Fidelity Tax Advantage Fund. The Fund received the ICRA 7-Star Gold Award 2010 and the CNBC TV18 – CRISIL Mutual Fund of the Year Award in the Equity Linked Savings Schemes (ELSS) category.

The Fidelity Tax Advantage Fund won the CNBC TV18 – CRISIL Mutual Fund of the Year Award in the Equity Linked Savings Scheme (ELSS) category. It was the only scheme that won an award in the ELSS category from a total of 21 eligible schemes. The award is based on consistency of the scheme’s performance in the four quarterly CRISIL CPR rankings released during the calendar year 2009.

The ICRA 7-Star Gold Award 2010 in the Open Ended Equity – Tax Planning Schemes was also awarded to the Fidelity Tax Advantage Fund for its 3-year performance till December 31, 2009. This is awarded to the best performing fund among 5-Star funds, i.e. the top decile, in the respective category.

Ashu Suyash, Managing Director and Country Head - India, Fidelity International, said, “Winning both, the CRISIL and ICRA awards, for the Fidelity Tax Advantage Fund is a recognition of  Fidelity’s focus on delivering consistent performance and risk-adjusted returns based on our investment philosophy of bottom-up stock picking. We believe that ELSS funds provide a great avenue for tax savings as well as for wealth creation, especially for investors with a long-term investment horizon.”
