Delta Corp said in the regulatory filing that the company's casinos in Goa will remain closed as the state government has extended the covid-induced restrictions till July 26.

Accordingly, the casinos operated by the Company and its subsidiaries in Goa will remain closed during this period. We are unable to estimate the quantum of potential losses on account of this temporary closure and the pandemic at this time, Delta Corp said in the filing.

Further, the casinos operated by the Company and its subsidiaries in Sikkim will remain closed during this period.

“We are unable to estimate the quantum of potential losses on account of this temporary closure and the pandemic at this time,” the company said.

Also, due to the surge in COVID-19 cases being witnessed in Sikkim, the Government of Sikkim inter-alia has imposed restrictions in the state till further notice, the company added.

The stock ended at Rs174.55 down by Rs5.55 or 3.08% from its previous closing of Rs180.10 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs180.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs181.05 and Rs173.30 respectively.
