Gulzar institute of Engineering & Technology which runs under the aegis by Gulzar Charitable and Education Trust announced addition of Automation and Robotics course for this year’s curriculum. Gulzar institute of Engineering & Technology is the only institute which has introduced the course of Automation and Robotics in the North India for the very first time.

 

Robots work with some in-built logical mechanisms and apparatus which can be learnt in the course of Automation and Robotics Engineering. A & R Engg. is the newly introduced inter-disciplinary branch of Technology which deals with developing, controlling, maintaining, disposition and designing the applications of Robots. One must possess the technical know-how of Computer, Electronics, Mechanics, Science and Biology to create a Robot. The course assists students to get innovatively creative by bringing their ideas to life.

 

Automation and Robotics Technicians install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair sophisticated electro-mechanical devices including programmable logic and motor controls, relays and timers, and hydraulic and pneumatic components, in addition to sensor and transducers for measurements of temperature, pressure, flow, position and motion. With this core training in electronics students will learn how the various types of robots, such as cylindrical, rectilinear, spherical, and jointed spherical are used in virtually any kind of industrial automated production equipment and robotics system.
