Pioneer Distilleries resumes operations at Maharashtra factory

The work has been resumed from August 30 after the completion of maintenance work.

Pioneer Distilleries has resumed operations at its factory located in Nanded district, Maharashtra. The resumption of work caused its share price to rise 4% on Thursday.

The work has been resumed from August 30 consequent to the completion of the maintenance work, the company said in a press note to the exchanges on Wednesday after market hours.

On August 10, the company had informed exchanges about the closure of the operations at the Nanded factory. Meanwhile, Pioneer Distilleries has scheduled its annual general meeting (AGM) on September 21, 2018.

Pioneer Distilleries' share price is currently at Rs206.50, up by Rs8.5 or 4.29% from its previous closing of Rs198 on the BSE.

The scrip has opened at Rs202.90. It has touched a high and low of Rs207.70 and Rs199.05 respectively. So far, 38,801 (NSE+BSE) shares have been traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs265.12cr.
