Shalby Multi-Specialty Hospital commences treatment of Covid-19 patients, stock up 1.5%

The hospital in Surat has designated 75 beds for Covid-19 patients or with suspected cases of Covid-19.

Shalby Limited has commenced treatment of Covid-19 patients at Shalby Multi-Specialty Hospital after getting requisition order by the commissioner of Surat Municipal Corporation.

“Pursuant to the Requisition Order by Commissioner of Surat Municipal Corporation under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, total 75 beds have been designated for Covid-19 patients or with suspected cases of Covid-19 at Shalby Multispecialty Hospital, Final Plot no. 29, (TP No. 12), Nr. Navyug College, Rander Road, Surat 395009,” company said in its exchange filing on Saturday.

It further said that the remaining beds at the hospital are available for Non-Covid patients.

Shalby Ltd is currently trading at Rs70.55 up by Rs1.05 or 1.51% from its previous closing of Rs69.50 on the BSE.
