In his new role, Rajiv would report to Badal Bagri, Chief Financial Officer (India and South Asia), Airtel. Rajiv will be responsible for ensuring that Airtel is appropriately represented with investors, lenders, equity partners, and financial institutions.

Rajiv is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 18 years of experience in Capital Markets, Corporate Strategy, Consulting, IPOs, Fundraising and Equity Research. He joins Airtel from Spark Capital Advisors where he was Director - Investment Banking & Head - Digital Research. Before that he worked with organisations such as SBICAP Securities, HSBC and PWC.
Rajiv holds an MBA with specialization in Finance from ICFAI, Hyderabad, a certification from Wharton School on Strategic Thinking and Leadership and is also a Certified Personal Coach from ICF. He is passionate about helping start-ups and works with first-time entrepreneurs as a mentor.
At around 1.28 pm, Bharti Airtel was trading at Rs700.85 per piece up Rs19.75 or 2.9% on Sensex. The stock has gained over 3% with an intraday high of Rs703.35 per piece.
