Consumer protection necessity for consumption-driven economy: CII

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organize a seminar on consumer protection, titled The Consumer Omnipresence on 10th June in Mumbai. The seminar will be held to educate todays consumers on their rights and what they need to consider while choosing a particular product.  
The deliberations on current issues pertaining to consumer protection prevailing at present in India and particularly in Maharashtra will be conducted. It includes various initiatives being taken up by Maharashtra Government to protect consumer rights in the state and the way forward on consumer rights protection.
The consumer protection will bring together industry, consumer forums, civil society, media and other diverse stakeholders on the same platform to deliberate on consumer protection in India.
