CRISIL assigns A rating with Stable outlook to CSB Bank's bonds

Such ratings are considered to have an adequate degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations, the company said.

CRISIL has assigned ‘CRISIL A /Stable’ rating to the proposed Rs500cr Tier II, Basel III compliant bonds issue Programme of CSB Bank.

As per the CRISIL rating schedule, the instruments with the rating symbol of ‘CRISIL A /Stable’ are considered to have an adequate degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations, the company said.

CSB Bank Ltd ended at Rs325.15 per piece up by Rs4.8 or 1.5% from its previous closing of Rs320.35 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs322.40 and touched a high and low of Rs330.10 and Rs322.40 respectively during intraday trade on Thursday.
