G E Shipping delivers its 2003 built Aframax Crude Carrier; stock ends higher

The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) delivered its 2003 built Aframax Crude Carrier “Jag Lata” to the buyers.

The vessel was contracted for sale in July 2021, G E Shipping said in the regulatory filing.

Excluding this vessel, the Company’s current fleet stands at 45 vessels, comprising 31 tankers (8 crude carriers, 18 product tankers, 5 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers with an average age of 12.01 years aggregating 3.57 mn dwt, the company said.

The stock ended at Rs372 up by Rs5.7 or 1.56% from its previous closing of Rs366.30 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs371.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs379 and Rs358.40 respectively.
