Goa Carbon temporarily shuts down Salcete Unit for maintenance work; stock dips 3.5%

The company’s Goa Unit located at St. Jose de Areal, Salcete-Goa has been temporarily shut down from April 17, 2021.

Goa Carbon Limited intimated to the exchanges Monday that the operations at the company’s Goa Unit located at St. Jose de Areal, Salcete-Goa has been temporarily shut down for maintenance work from April 17, 2021.

The company stock was bearish and at around 2.16 pm, Goa Carbon Ltd was trading at Rs305.65 per piece down by Rs10.9 or 3.44% from its previous closing of Rs316.55 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs306 and has touched a high and low of Rs312.70 and Rs302.75 respectively during intraday tarde on Monday.
