HFCL bags order worth Rs221.16cr from Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation; stock ends higher

The project is for design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Telecommunication Systems for Kanpur Metro (Corridor-1 and Corridor-II) and Agra Metro (Corridor-1).

HFCL Limited (formerly Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited) informed the exchanges Wednesday that the company has bagged an order worth Rs221.16cr from Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

“The project is for design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of  Fiber Optic Transmission System, Telephone System, Train Radio Tetra System, Public Address System, Passenger Information Display System, Master Clock System, CCTV System, Access Control System and Uninterrupted Power Supply System (for Signalling, Telecommunication, AFC and E&M Equipments), Supply of Spares, DLP Maintenance and the Training of Operation and Maintenance Personnel for these Systems for Kanpur Metro (Corridor-! and CorridorII) and Agra Metro (Corridor-1) Projects of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.,” company said.

HFCL Ltd trade on Wednesday ended at Rs26.90 per piece down by Rs1.1 or 3.93% from its previous closing of Rs28 per piece on the BSE.
