ICRA revises long-term credit rating of Tinplate to AA; Stock dips 1.5%

The credit rating agency reaffirms the company’s short-term rating of ICRA A1+.

ICRA Limited has revised the long-term rating on credit facilities of Tinplate Company of India Limited and reaffirmed the short-term rating.

The rating on long-term facilities has been revised from ICRA AA - to ICRA AA. The credit rating agency reaffirmed the short-term rating of ICRA A1+ on the company’s debt instruments.

At around 12.39 PM, Tinplate Company of India Ltd was trading at Rs244.90 per piece down by Rs4.2 or 1.69% from its previous closing of Rs249.10 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs251.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs251.50 and Rs244.05 respectively, during intraday trade on Friday.
