Makers Lab ends 5% higher on shareholders’ nod for selling Thane plant

Shareholders of the firm have passed the special resolution to “sell, transfer or dispose off the company’s manufacturing unit” situated at MIDC.

Makers Laboratories ended 4.61% at Rs. 65.75 on BSE after the company said it has received shareholders’ nod to sell the company’s Thane manufacturing plant.

Shareholders of the firm have passed the special resolution to “sell, transfer or dispose off the company’s manufacturing unit” situated at MIDC.

The scrip opened at Rs. 62 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 68.45 and Rs. 62 respectively. So far 3864(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 30.92 crore.

The BSE group 'XD' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 123.4 on 20-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 48.5 on 15-Jun-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 63.95 and Rs. 58.15 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.37 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0 % and 41.63 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 200 DMA.
