Nifty FMCG trade marginally lower as heavyweights ITC, HUL limits losses; Varun Beverages top underperformer

At around 2:15 PM, Nifty FMCG was trading at 33,130.10 down 62.50 points or 0.19%. It touched an intraday high of 33,480.55 and an intraday low of 32,017.95 during early trading hours.
HUL and ITC were the only top gainers on the index.
ITC was the top bull surging 1.66% and trading at Rs214.10 per piece. HUL gained by 0.27%.
Colgate Palmolive, Nestle India, Marico and Britannia were trading on a bearish note.
VBL was the biggest laggard at Rs973.65 per piece lower by 3.27%, while Emami shed 2.93%. Jubilant Foodworks was 2.79% down.
Stocks like McDowell, Godrej Consumer, Dabur and Marico dips more than 1%.
Tata Consumers shed 2.47% followed by Protector & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care tumbling 2.59%.
