After touching a 52 week high of Rs525 apiece on the BSE, the company shed early gains and still settled in the green.
On the BSE, the company ended the day 6.41% higher at Rs498.10 apiece.
The spike came on a day when the company has announced that it has approved to the decision to increase installed capacity of Rajratan Thailand.
Rajratan Thailand is a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Post this move, the installed capacity will go up from 34,800 MT per year to 60,000 MT per year, the company said.
