Salzer Electronics gets patent for 'Motor Protection Circuit Breaker with increased air gap'

Salzer Electronics Limited on Thursday has received a patent for its Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB) with increased air gap.

This patent is for a particular design in MPCB. Salzer is the only Indian manufacturer making this product in India. We received the patent for this invention from the Patent Office, Government of India, for a duration of 20 years, ending 2036. This reflects the Company’s relentless efforts towards innovation and technology and paves the way for future product development.

Commenting on this development, Rajesh Doraiswamy, Joint Managing Director, Salzer Electronics Ltd said, “I am happy to announce that we have received the much-awaited patent for our Motor Protection Circuit Breaker with increased air gap. We are the only Indian manufacturer making this product in India.

The Government of India granted us the patent for this invention for 20 years, ending in 2036. This is our second patent in a span of one month and reflects our focus on innovation and technology and sets the tone for future product development.
