Tube Investments resumes operations, shares flat

The company had shutdown operations in its manufacturing plants on March 23, 2020, situated across various locations of the country in view of the widespread COVID-19 pandemic.

Tube Investments of India Ltd. informed the exchanges Thursday about resuming operations in a partial manner in about two-thirds of the plant locations. The company had shutdown operations in its manufacturing plants on March 23, 2020, situated across various locations of the country in view of the widespread COVID-19 pandemic.

The company shares were ,however, flat at the BSE, selling at a price of Rs374.00 up Rs1.30 or 0.35% than previous closing of Rs372.70.

“The remaining locations are awaiting permission of the local Government/authorities for resumption of operations. As the situation improves, the operations would be scaled up to the full levels over time,” the company said in a release.

“We further inform that operations in all plants are done subject to total adherence of the guidelines issued by the Governments concerned and the local authorities, with paramount regard for the health and safety of the workforce.” It added.
