Indian benchmark indices extended their winning streak for a fifth consecutive session on November 4, 2026, with Sensex rising 383.55 points (0.50%) to 77,301.40 and Nifty advancing 149.75 points (0.63%) to 23,960.60. Late-session buying, continued FII inflows, softer crude oil prices and positive global cues supported the rally. Nifty Media, Realty and Metal led sectoral gains, while Bharat Electronics, Adani Enterprises and Titan emerged among the notable gainers. However, IT stocks remained under pressure, with TCS, HCLTech and Infosys among the top losers.
