PRINT HOUSE (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED ANNUAL REPORT 2005-2006 MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS OPERATIONS AND EXPANSION The Company has continued the momentum of steady performance during the year. The Company has achieved. a turnover of Rs. 5,622 Lacs (Previous Year Rs.4,701 Lacs), a growth of 20%. Capacity utilization, optimizing efficiencies and aggressive marketing of value added products, in India and, across the globe, have lead to higher performance. During the year, the company has set-up a new plant in the outskirts of Mumbai at Rabale. The printing operations have already begun during the previous year. Special machines have been installed for mass printing of products like newspapers, magazines, etc. With several newspapers coming into the market the company foresees a good future demand. The new unit has an advantage of being outside the congested area of Mumbai city and moreover, is free from octroi duty and is close to Nava Sheva Port. This will enable quick movement of raw materials and finished goods, leading to a good turnaround. The unprecedented rain & flash flood towards end of July,2005 affected companies plant & inventory. Immediate action to minimize its impact and repair damage quickly helped bring operations to normal in a short time. OUTLOOK FOR THE FUTURE It is expected that the steps taken by the company in recent years to strengthen infrastructure of the company, coupled with a promising outlook for the business of the company in which it is engaged, will translate into a healthy performance for the company. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the company expects to continue to report, satisfactory performance in the future.
