NAGRIFARM TEA COMPANY LIMITED ANNUAL REPORT 2005-2006 MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS Operations The Company produced 4,05,914 Kgs of Tea as against 3,99,255 Kgs produced during the previous year. The Management has taken steps to convert Companys Soom tea estate into Organic Culture from Season 2006 in view of growing overseas demand for organic products. As Dhajea Tea Estate would be certified organic w.e.f. 1.1.2007, the Directors are hopeful of better turnover and profits in the years to come. In the current financial year, the crop is ahead by app 30000 kgs than that of the previous year as on date. The Directors are of the view, the steps taken on correction in bush conditions & quality improvement, would start yielding results in the years to come. Personnel The Management and Labour relation was cordial throughout the year.
